This license governs use, modification, and redistribution of the software,
specifications, schemas, adapters, and documentation in this repository. By
using, copying, modifying, or distributing any part of this work, you accept
the terms and conditions below.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 "Software" means all code, specifications, JSON schemas, type definitions,
adapters, examples, documentation, and any other work in this repository,
whether in source, object, or any other form.
1.2 "Licensor" means AliceLabs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
1.3 "Licensee" means any person or entity that uses, copies, modifies, or
distributes the Software under this license.
1.4 "Commercial Use" means any use of the Software, in whole or in part, for
or in connection with a commercial purpose, including without limitation:
(a) use within a commercial product, service, or platform offered to third
parties for revenue;
(b) use internally within a for-profit organization to deliver goods or
services to its customers;
(c) use by a contractor, consultant, or agent of a for-profit organization
in the course of providing services to that organization;
(d) redistribution, sublicensing, or relicensing of the Software, modified
or unmodified, to any third party in exchange for monetary or other
consideration;
(e) integration of the Software, modified or unmodified, into a product,
service, or platform that is sold, licensed, or otherwise monetized.
1.5 "Non-Commercial Use" means any use of the Software that is not Commercial
Use, including without limitation:
(a) personal learning, study, or evaluation;
(b) academic research at a degree-granting institution;
(c) contribution back to the Software via pull request or merge request
to the official repository maintained by the Licensor;
(d) security review, audit, or vulnerability research disclosed responsibly
to the Licensor.

2. GRANT OF RIGHTS

2.1 Source code access. The Licensor grants the Licensee a worldwide,
non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free right to:
(a) read, inspect, and review the source code of the Software;
(b) compile, build, and run the Software for the Licensee's own
Non-Commercial Use;
(c) modify the Software for the Licensee's own Non-Commercial Use or for
contribution back to the Licensor's official repository.
2.2 Contribution. The Licensee may submit modifications, bug fixes, or
extensions to the Software via pull request to the official repository. If
accepted by the Licensor, the Licensee agrees to assign all right, title, and
interest in the contributed modifications to the Licensor, who may license
them under this or any other license at its sole discretion.

3. RESTRICTIONS

3.1 No Commercial Use. The Licensee shall not use the Software, in whole or
in part, for any Commercial Use without prior written authorization from
the Licensor. To request Commercial Use authorization, contact
legal@alicelabs.site.
3.2 No Redistribution. The Licensee shall not redistribute, sublicense,
relicense, sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise transfer the
Software, modified or unmodified, to any third party, except:
(a) as an integral part of a contribution back to the Licensor's official
repository; or
(b) as explicitly authorized in writing by the Licensor.
3.3 No Forking. The Licensee shall not create, publish, or maintain a fork of
the Software in any public or private repository, except:
(a) a private fork for the Licensee's own Non-Commercial Use that is not
published or distributed to any third party; or
(b) a fork whose sole purpose is to submit a contribution back to the
Licensor's official repository via pull request.
3.4 No Trademark Use. The Licensee shall not use the names "AliceLabs",
"MarketNow", "Universal Trust Adapter", "UTA", "ATC", "Agent Trust Credential",
"UTS", "Universal Trust Schema", or any other trademark of the Licensor, in
any form, without prior written authorization from the Licensor, except to
refer to the Software for the purpose of describing its origin or for the
purpose of contribution back to the Licensor's official repository.
3.5 No Removal of Notices. The Licensee shall not remove, alter, or obscure
any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on or in the Software.
3.6 No Misrepresentation. The Licensee shall not represent or imply that the
Software, modified or unmodified, is an official product of AliceLabs LLC or
any of its affiliates without prior written authorization.

4. COMMERCIAL LICENSING

4.1 Commercial licenses are available from the Licensor. Commercial Use
without a commercial license is a material breach of this license.
4.2 To request a commercial license, contact legal@alicelabs.site with a
description of the intended use case. The Licensor will respond within
5 business days with licensing terms.

5. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE
LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN
ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION
WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. TERMINATION
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
6.1 This license terminates automatically if the Licensee breaches any of
its terms. Upon termination, the Licensee shall cease all use of the Software
and destroy all copies in their possession or control.
6.2 The Licensor may terminate this license at any time, for any reason, with
30 days' written notice to the Licensee.

7. GOVERNING LAW
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its
conflict of law provisions. The Licensee submits to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming for any dispute arising
under this license.

8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This license constitutes the entire agreement between the Licensor and the
Licensee with respect to the Software. Any modification must be in writing
and signed by an authorized representative of the Licensor.
